And I can't stop thinking that this criticism from someone with multiple articles on remote viewing, psychic phenomena, the law of attraction, self-help, get-rich-quick schemes, and other pseudo-scientific musings is more about a personal refusal to acknowledge the reality of our situation than it is about virtue signalling.

TL;DR - Why not just say, "I don't like this story because I'm in it"? At least the author had the courage to own that.
