I like the term coined by The Office: productivity czar. It captures some of that rigid, unrelenting emphasis on productivity in the face of other values and virtues. Ironically, though, the show missed the opportunity to go further into illustrating how our culture has encouraged us to become our own productivity czars, too. It's a powerful sort of ideology that can convince people into doing the labor of constantly pushing themselves and competing for little more than the profits and standards of the higher ups.
